Borland Announces Results of 2007 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

CUPERTINO, Calif., - May 30, 2007 : Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL), the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), today announced results from its annual meeting of stockholders held on May 29, 2007 in Cupertino, California.

Stockholders re-elected Mr. Mark Garrett, Mr. William K. Hooper, Mr. Tod Nielsen, Mr. John F. Olsen, Mr. T. Michael Nevens and Mr. Robert M. Tarkoff to the board of directors.

Stockholders approved an amendment to Borland’s 1999 Employee Stock Purchase Plan to increase the number of shares available for issuance by an additional 2,500,000 shares of common stock.

Stockholders also ratified the selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to continue to serve as Borland’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2007.
